Staying involved with our community is very important to us, which is why we are reaching out in every way we can to stay a part of the local community. Here are a few of the ways in which the Durable family stays a part of the community:

- Durable is a Major Donator to Cancer Research.
- We are on the Board of Directors for Punitive Care at Bradley Memorial Hospital,The Waterbury Palace Theatre and Sacred Heart High School
- We are a member of the Elks Lodge, the Sports Car Club of America (40 years) and the Porsche Club of America (over 40 years)
- Dave is also on the Republican Town Committee and the Commissioner for the Bantam Lake Protection Agency.
